A drum heating oven warms the contents of drums to reduce viscosity, melt solids or bring materials up to process temperature. Typical contents are wax, resin, grease, adhesives, honey, fats, chemicals and paints that thicken in cold weather. Even, gentle heating avoids local overheating that could damage the product.

How the Drum Heating Oven Works

Drums are placed inside on pallets or a trolley. Hot air from the heater plenum is blown around the drums, gradually raising the contents to the set temperature. The controller holds the temperature, preventing overheating of heat-sensitive products.
